Might work with HL. If it doesn't drop the main item (barons bracelet) then it could drop the croc bracelet, but with a different name. That way you always get an item, but some times you also get a better one.

Edit: Not 50/50 chance of getting BB or croc bracelet. Whatever % of getting the BB and if you don't get it, you get the croc bracelet. What Meph said

I still thinking the croc would be too easy of a boss for a set of bracelets.

Although this may make a player look like a mage slayer, I feel the disadvantages of it all nulling beneficial magic also (such as healing and stat mods) helps to balance it out, due to the commonplace need for healing and stat modifiers.

And It would be if you placed it on a thief, or a fighter, or a zerker, or a ranger.... Althought they would have to rely more heavily on their pots, it would indeed make them mage killers lol...

i tried for a potion drop on a boss when i had something okayed, it was shot down.

Because Its not the most powerful thing you can get off the monster, and you get the alternate any time you dont get the main...
Edit: In other words it fills all those times you kill it and get nothing with an actual gain

OOO, i love the star command idea, can i get a hook up with Buzz Lightyear's "laser" it wouldnt need to be anything strong seeing as it is just a flashing light. I mean for real, im just like him, i dont fly, i just fall with style.
