Ok, im not tripping to much over this, but in my opinion all the classes should get a piece of armor when they advance to lvl 36.

Library info for Cloak of the Avenger:
Armor base: 46, Can be worn by: thieves, Description: This cloak was made by Elves beyond Silverdell for the expressed purpose of protecting their benefactors in the mountains. This is a gift given by the guild to its advanced members., Level needed to equip it: 36, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Absorb spell: 0.

Thieves were able to get this after they leveled to 36. If im not wrong it might be because they had to fight avenger or whatever it was on the mountain. But, this is kinda something to look forward to at level 36 in my opinion.(a little at least) But even more, paying 2.5(3m in my case:( ) to lvl and not gettin even a measly "token" of your efforts is kinda uncool. heh.

Sooo...

Library info for :______________
Armor base: 31, Can be worn by: mages, Description: The regularly dreary Robe of Storms were enchanted by the Ancient Archmage specifically for the advanced mages of the guild. The now alluring robes give off such an intense, glowing aura that many onlookers sense the sorcerer wearing the garment to be almighty., Level needed to equip it: 36, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Absorb spell: 0.

I suggest something along the lines of that. Didn't think of name because i didnt want people to flame that just because it wasnt added doesn't mean i should be able to name it or w/e lol.. but its just my personal opinion that all classes dissever something after this much gold/exping/tokens.... anyways, thats my case ... dont have to agree, but i honestly dont see why you wouldnt...

I think +1 Charisma would be something that can be added across the board effecting each class evenly and making it a little cooler without it actually making you much (if any) better, considering how much more power a level 36 will have anyway.

I have one little question... what will Paladins get at level 36 on 1-alt? I ask this because they have two armours to choose between, Sand Wurm Hide/Azure Robes and Crusader's Crest... 42 armour, or 40 armour and +1 Strength.

ADDENDUM: And Berserkers for that matter, as they don't wear armour at all.

I agree each class should get a specialized equipment piece when they reach level 36, nothing overpowering. I would agree if any stat mods that it's +1 char across the board. If berserkers can't wear armor give them a specialized weapon instead. None of this should be much more armor then the current piece before 36, or for the zerkers much more base damage then the current weapon before 36.

I think it was intended for each class to get a piece of armor or the sort, but it was setup by Tecton, as with how the original leveling to 36 guild was setup. Since he left, I suppose the alternative equipment was just off any of our minds.

Anyway, berserkers can still wear armor, if it is set to allow them to wear it. So they can get a tunic that gives no armor, but has a name. As for classes with multiple top armors...I don't know.

I also agree with Wes. These armors should have some type of bonus, and +1 char is the most universally even stat to bonus across the board.

I don't play 1-alt, so it probably won't matter what I say, but does that mean the Cloak of the Avenger will get a +1 Charisma stat as well?

My own suggestions for Berserker and Paladin armour:

- The Berserker gets some kind of "chest tattoo" as their armour, some coveted mark of their Grandmaster Slayer status (and people being in awe of it is where the +1 Charisma comes from).

- Paladins perhaps get "Angelic Crest" or "Templar's Crest" or "Order of the Templar" or something of that effect that gives 42 armour, +1 Strength and +1 Charisma and requires you to sacrifice a Crusader's Crest in order to eventually obtain it. Mind you, I'm not sure if that is overpowering or not, even for a Paladin.

Supported.

Go go go!

Also I like Gareth's idea of the Tattoo and Paladin armor, since right now paladins are pretty much trash lol. Of course if you had to sacrifice Crusader's Crest to obtain probably wouldn't happen seeing as 1a is pure stealth game and I think only one person bothers to even train a lvl 30+ paladin right now. So that leaves Castle Darksparrow out.

We would probably let them trade either for an equivalent with +1 charisma added. (ie 2 trade options for 2 different items), or pick the hardest/rarest item to acquire and allow that to be the one that is tradable. (Assuming it is relatively possible to get it on 1a).

Zerkers:
Like Gaddy said, as far as I'm concerned, they can continue to wear their bikini (remember this will have a new name anyway) or w/e their best equip-able piece is, and we could add +1 charisma to it.

This isn't meant to be a mechanism of balancing, as at level 36, we can't predict how powerful these characters would be anyway. This is a response to the request of a better reward for getting to level 36.

Note: I like your names for the items Crane

Is it only me that sees this topic totally went off track ?

As far as an "item" for trade... was that the original query ?

After reading a lot of the current -wants- on nightmist on both servers I thought this idea could be cool and take a couple of them out at a time.

This is in the Ways and Means thread http://www.nightmist...showtopic=27404

Variant of idea with class restricted items.

Thief

Crown of the Assassin: 6ac, +1Str
Crown of the Thief: 6ac, +1Dex
Crown of the Stalker: 6ac, -1Str, +2Dex

Ranger

Crown of the Bow: 9ac, +1Str
Crown of the Night: 9ac, +1Dex
Crown of the Eagle: -1ac, +1Str, +1Dex

Fighter

Crown of the Brute: 9ac, +1Str
Crown of the Self: 9ac, +1Wis
Crown of the Madman: 9ac, +2Str, -1Dex

Paladin

Crown of Belief: 9ac, +1Str
Crown of the Healer: 9ac, +1Wis
Crown of the Sacrifice: -1ac, +2Str

Berserk

Crown of the Barbarian: +1Str
Crown of the Self-Control: +5ac
Crown of the Bloodlust: +2Str, -2Wis

Cleric

Crown of Divinity: 2ac, +1Wis
Crown of Grace: 5ac, +1Dex
Crown of the Doomsayer: 2ac, -1Dex, +2Wis

Druid

Crown of the Claw: 2ac, +1Str
Crown of the Caster: 2ac, +1Wis
Crown of the Animal: 2ac, +2Str, -1Wis

Mage

Crown of the Archmage: 2ac, +1Int
Crown of the Outcast: 2ac, +1Wis
Crown of Evil: 2ac, -2Wis, +2Int

Pacifist

Crown of the Saint: 2ac, +2Char
Crown of the Hermit: 6ac, +2Dex
Crown of the Raven: -10ac, +3Char

I think that items such as these might be a good idea for the reason in the Ways and Means thread. Also, you could make these items obtainable when you reach the lvl 36 mark. At level 36 you get to choose one of those 3 items which would make the player stand out for being 36 and choosing which "path" he followed.

Anyways, ideas comments?

Dare I say that is complete badassery. It could easily be done by having to simply trade an ac helmet with the same armor to get the stat bonus. There aren't too many variants of the best standard helmet for each class.

Supported out the frame.

Edit: Instead of perhapes trading a circlet (along with 2m and tokens) for my crown of grace (5ac) and lvl, could someone trade a witches hat for one with 7ac?
