honestly just making this to be able to post in aeryns topic

but there needs to be more fancy equip like renamed armor/rings/shields
rangers/fighters only get 2 options and dont even have a unique armor when pretty much every other class has some sort of special armor they can make/get like azure robes so something with +1 more ac than the normal stuff would be cool

at the very least I dont think a renamed swh/spiked armor that costs 100k is asking for much because characters should just have more equips to choose from even though its all the same stuff to make them more unique

Library info for Living Armor:
Armor base: 42, Can be worn by: druids, fighters, paladins, rangers, Description: Similar to the animated armor that guards the Dwarven Enchanter, the living armor is made from what appears to be scraps of other armor pieced together. However, it is not only the material that is forged into what is now worn, but perhaps the very souls of the original wearers of these tattered bits of shielding. The movements that seem to come from within the armor itself certainly have a life of their own., Level needed to equip it: 30, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0.

Rings tend to be the same for all classes, with the exception of a few rares that I think have been removed from the game now due to old players quitting.

As for unique armour, Fighters have Spiked Armor, Crimson Plate and Conqueror's Armor as options, as well as the rare Bone Plate. For Rangers, the best is the Sand Wurm Hide or Living Armor... in a way, the Sand Wurm Hide is the unique armour for Rangers, because Paladins have the Crusader's Crest, which gives +1 Strength while giving 2 less armour.

For Shields, Fighters share their best shield with Paladins (Sentinel Shield) which the exception of one rare shield whose name you can discover if you study the in-game pictures carefully. Rangers have Glowing Bracers as their specialist shield, otherwise equal in strength to the Spiked Shield.

There are tons of alternative items available from the Coliseum. In addition, Cloud City provides even further variety, and those are less common because of the expense.
So, go shop in Cloud City, if the Coliseum stuff is too common for you.

Though, it might be cool to have additional unique items, like the Lightning Blade. But players paid large sums of real money for those items, via donations.

I think that maybe renamed current items that go into crafting would be great.

Such as Sand Wurm Hide + Junk = Something with the same base armor as sand wurm hide. Or maybe something with a useless stat mod or +1 armor.

Also, yes cloud city did add alot of renamed items ingame, but most of those where only boss drops until cloud city got put in. The reason many players don't do that is because the cost of such is 2x more then if you would get the drop of the boss.

Things that can already be bought from shops are the only things I would rename in put into different shops. The boss drop items should have to be crafted to get it renamed in my opinion.

I don't mind seeing more alternate items coming into play (with the same stats). If you have particular existing store-bought items that you'd like to see have other alternatives, post them here.

There is a difficulty with adding alternate items into the game for boss drops though. If the alternates are dropped by another boss, then we need to be careful that there are not hordes of these items flooding the game. If the alternates are store-bought, then we need to be very careful in setting a price so that they do not change or devalue the price of the original boss drop. It's possible to do, but takes much more effort to add alternates to a boss drop. If they do get added, they will likely require the original boss-drop item and some additional cost to acquire the new item.

On topic, I agree with Rappy. Tonnes of items/descriptions hidden around in this section of the forum which could be changed into something not too poweful heh.

preferable a different type of helm for a lvl 30+ ranger too

"helm of triumph, anubis mask, spiked helm"

isn't really too much unless im missing a few
Radical is a Male Halfling Archmaster Class III Hunter. He looks strong, wise, extremely fast, and sexy. In one hand he holds an Cobalt Bow, which glows with a magical aura, the other a Runic Bracers. He is wearing a Living Armor, and a Helm of Triumph protects his head. Around his neck sits a Feral Choker. He is wearing a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, and Bewitched Spider Gauntlets on his hands. His feet are protected by Armored Boots. He is a member (-×»ºEliteº«×-) of ~*The Crypt*~ and he is in a healthy condition.

kinda ugly imo
