From what i've heard, the orc caves never got finished. Another level was supposed to be added and a boss introduced. I don't know if that's just been thrown out the window, but it would be cool either way to put a 3rd level in.

i think its nice that the area doesnt have a boss. almost all areas in the game have bosses, or just lead to a city or an area with a boss. mountains of sentent have 2? bosses. triken forest 1. fortress 2? both spider caves 1, barrier forest 3? barracks 1.....you get my drift. i personally think there should be more plain training areas in the game.

I would personally like another level added that somehow leads to the sewers. Put harder rats in... maybe put goblins there? Gets gradually harder until it goes into the orc caves.
