Staff's Opinion

I would like to know (and I'm not the only one) what do staff expect of druids. What they want, what they don't want, what they like, etc. And I would like to know when will druids be changed (Class Balance Thingy)... Could any staff member please answer to this? And I do know Pandilex is responsible for Class Balance (or that's what people told me).

I doubt the staff even agree - perhaps you mean 'what Pandilex expects'. Pandilex has taken on the burden of re-working the classes (if not a main part of the original creation of them).

| Rollers is right, pallys should NOT get aid. With aid they are just the same as Clerics who don't have acess to the impressive shiez like Scrolls of Divine Restoration, but hit a shiez lot harder.

Well... What do staff really expect of druids? Now I noticed that a camouflage is not a secure of druid anymore. Druid would spotted without vision spell when druid coming in room. And what is funny: long time after that I hear: "The invisibility has worn off. You are no longer Camouflaged." If I dead before that message... lol! Druids are truely weak class and by now their best spell is destroyed.

| Because Paladins are a combination of a cleric and a fighter. That is why they got aid.

I think morph costs need some tweaking as well. On a level 28 druid it costs 50 mana just to morph into a wurm and a further 26 per round, as far as I know this initial cost is the same for all levels although JLH said that the costing per round decreases with level (I think lol). I think this initial cost should be reduced a little as well, 50 seems rather high to me, especially when the next highest morph cost is 25 (lion). The other point that I have mentioned before is that this initial cost is still in place even if you switch between morphs. I feel that it should only cost the difference in mana, i.e. switching from a lion to the wurm morph would cost 25 rather that 50. The way it currently works makes it very hard to use tactics when pitted against other classes, and frankly this is the only way a druid has any chance of surviving.

I agree with Bullitt. Morph initial cost could (and in my opinion should) be reduced a bit and when swapping to better morphs, you would only loose what you didn't with the other morph.
