Hmn, I'll have to agree on the point of morph to morph. Mana cost does get a little excessive as you modify your form to suit the combat situation. The drain is fine, but the morph to morph of 50 or whatever it is, is a little painful. Perhaps initial morph cost could stay the same, and when morphing from one animal to another it could half.

I think the difference would work better; otherwise you could just morph into a wolf then into a wurm, halving the cost.
EDIT:
In fact I think it should cost the difference to swap to a more expensive morph, and then only cost half to go down to a lower morph. For example, wolf to lion would initially cost 45 instead of the 50, and then back to the wolf morph would only cost 3 instead of a further 5.
