this Lightning Storm or whatever, Call Lightning in Icewind Dale (D&D based) is from D&D, not Diablo. THough it may be in Diablo, you cant call it Blizzard's. All they did was change the name...(stupid copywrite laws).
Anyways. Spell sounds good (being a large fan of it in D&D), though maybe a tad bit powerful. Though I admit Druids need some power. They also arent as bad as many say they are, but no matter.

It is not instantaneous. It strikes people every... 6 seconds or something like that. So people can just run out of the square. And it is outdoors only. And it costs a fair ammount of mana. And it is high level spell. And it can be resisted. So it isn't that dangerous. 1 thing: It is obvious it does not hit coverted people.

Summon/charm spell isn't really needed, what IS needed though is a change in spell levels. You get the decent spells to early.

I think a summon/charm spell would be nifty (probably because I have 21chr  ). Heal needs 2 be put back. Different morphs would be nice and to be able to UNMORPH is necessary! I agree, the lvls required for some of the spells definitely need to be raised.
