It is pretty ridiculous to assume that camouflage is a spell. A druid should easily be able to camaflouge himself. Basically, if you are trying to make this a realistic game, then camouflage should be exactly like covert(cant be seen, lose stamina when moving, getting spotted).

It could be a spell or skill - in this instance, it uses mana, so it is a spell.

the point i am trying to make is that it shouldn't be a spell. Druids are perfectly capable of camouflaging naturally, they dont need a spell. There is a penalty(stamina loss) to using camouflage(my "covert" way) and you can be spotted with it on. So why not? That is the point of this thread.

Camouflage could be an ability and still use mana (like morph) but it is and should be a spell. All that should be changed about it is the cost. If invisibility can be cast on other people and costs 20 mana, camo can't but lasts longer, so it should also costs 20 mana. After all druids don't have the same mana points as mages.

What makes camo way better than covert is you can cast with a beast on the same square

But camo's cost should be reduced just a bit. Mages got inv for less mana and they have much more total mana. Just 20 mana is enough (15 is good).

Camouflage is fine, it lasts far longer than invisiblity so it doesn't matter that it costs more.

And it can't be cast on other people. But inv lasts for a bit less and can be cast on other people. Seems that one advantage nulifies the other. Therefore, they should cost the same.

Camo lasts over 2 minutes for me, invis lasts like 25 seconds. Therefore, camo should cost more.
