It's been a while since I actually saw staff dropping topaz keys.. I just don't see any point in completely blocking off the access to an area - aren't you supposed to create new areas, not close the ones we've already got?
However, would be nice to see more bartender blood, and why not give them out as prices in moshes/other events? Or maybe even quests?

I think its because some ppl cheated the system and killed the lag monster alot with only 1 key. So there waiting a bit to let it balance out.

they allready made it so you can't log off at lag monster anymore.
edit: and yes i think there should be a diff way to obtain a topaz key.

20 archies? just from what i've heard (never been there cuz i'm not popular enough to get invited to trips to lag monster) but ehm even with spyglass you can't spy on his square from boars if i'm correct

Apon going down from boar tusk, the key still stays on the player so someone with the key can move up and down there as he pleases but... to get onto the actual boss square you need the key and it is there you lose it as you enter. So you lose the key getting to the boss and you cannot logg off on the boss square and as soon as you leave the boss square, you need the key to get back.
Unless you can see a loop in that, (in which case I probably didn't explain well enough), there is no problem anymore with the topaz key being used more than once.
I did a while back post on the staff forum (months back lol) that I would think it good for the game to have a boss in a different area drop the topaz key. I never got a reply. I still think it may be a good idea or else maybe I'll give a topaz key for a couple of moshes if the admins are ok with it at the time.
Edit: I should maybe say, i believe pandliex deserves the credit for stopping that problem with the people using the topaz key more than once, he changed it to how it is now and it was probably my fault that people could do that in the first place.
