I just recently starting playing NightMist and seem to be having a bit of trouble. As I am finding out I have picked the wrong class. A mage

What I would like to know is what some of the better classes are. I understand from speaking to other players that a cleric is a must and that I should try to roll and elf cleric. What are some of the other good race and classes.
