Being a media student, i now have this habbit of ripping films to peices. Most films have a genre, like sci-fi, comedy, thriller, horror, chick flick, drama, and Donnie Darko doesn't seem to have one.
Very strange film to say the least

The rest is very weird, but apparently it could have been a premonition. It's mooseing annoying trying to work it out... lol

nahh, i wouldn't say it's overrated, the opinions balance equally, each person with their own views on the movie, which is why it's so unique.I just think it's kinda overrated.

and lynch is appreciable for his efforts, but after a while he gets annoying in the way where you just wanna slap him around, just for a bit.

which is what makes it a great film. If you can get your audience to walk out of that theatre, talking about the film, and thinking about it, even DREAMING about it afterwards, then you've got it!but it's defintely memorable.
