Raise Damage Of Fighters

me and my cousin have 1 lvl 30 dwarf and halfing fighter and hardly ever hit over 40 on anything other then zerks(30-70 on them...rarely 70 though)...and do miss a little bit more then should...

how about instead of giving fighters a ability which i dont think they need...give them more damage for their attacking?...a fighter is all about attacking(as if they were a barbarion..) so they deserve to hit for the most damage with attack..other then zerks possibly...and druids(only if druid has gaea's blessing and morph)...

say with Cronik(arch halfing fighter) i do a round on a arch dwarf zerk basic 4stater and 500+hp...do around 40-60 every hit..that i hit and normaly miss atleast one or two times...or do low damage on one or two hits...thats w/o stat mods and stats on fighter is 18 xx 21 18 18 xx.

but when i go for a arch ranger or something like that i hit for 20-40's...thats just to low.....

this was my round on a arch h-orc zerk with 16dex

You attacked Callidus with your Halberd for 48 points of damage.
You tried to attack Callidus with your Halberd but missed.
You attacked Callidus with your Halberd for 35 points of damage.
You tried to attack Callidus with your Halberd but missed.

now tell me that isnt underpower?.my stupid arch elf cleric can do that....lmao
plz give opinions on how much damage should be raised on fighters or why is shouldnt....ty

I actually agree with this, DMG and chance to hit should be raised abit. It is rediculus that every arch i have hits harder than all my fighters.

Fighters and zerkers are front line attackers, they should have highest hp (which they do) highest attacks per round (stamina, which they do) and best damage (zerks is fine, but fighters fall to peices against armoured opponents)

I used to be obsessed with fighters when I first began playing. Then I noticed the decrease in numbers with attacking, so I gave up on em'. I agree that their normal attacking should be increased to make them better.. as how they should be.
When you do something right nobody remembers, but when you do something wrong nobody forgets.

So hire a tempary new one, Its not really that hard a job, Just hire someone who isnt going to overbalance to suit himself, and who isn't going to all of a sudden run around going hey look mi staff you have to respect me more than you did. Life will be fine.

I agree. With him gone, that leaves Nightmist with a huge gap that needs to be filled. Creating classes/races, improving them.. etc.. is a big part of the game. I don't see why hiring a temporary staff member who knows what they're doing is going to hurt any.

wellthe reason your fighterhitfor so low is cuase he is a Hfling with 18 str

When attacking a ranger that has 100+armor 18 str isnt going to do much.
