I know a few have tried to make it, has anyone ever finished one.. or is anyone close to finishing one?

When you say world map do you mean every single square?

The best map ever was Cyrics old one, still found on his site.

I've got maps that cover, in total, every square of Nightmist, aside from clan houses.

I'm pretty positive that they are complete now...even areas that I have no use of a map for (such as the walk to spider king section or sections i don't currently have a party for such as catacombs and sewage drain-off)

Putting them all together would take a lot of time and it would be really big and confusing (due to the many different layers- up and down)...

O, forgot. Pacifist area---still do not have a map of it...a friend is going to give me one after they've collected some Shaman's Masks though, I'm pretty sure.

Pixel grid map is stupid, you won't see anything in it. My old one, kinda got stuck due to desert being a level higher, then i stopped making it...

i have a pixel map that i use for world planning, ie what areas can go where to make sure nothing badly overlaps etc
it's quite surprising how big nightmist is when you look at it all on 1 map
there are currently about 13,000 squares in the game

Harky and Deval made some pretty good world maps.

I made one a long time ago to measure scale placement of everything in NM - it includes sub-levels as layers. Anyone that has Paint Shop Pro (or any program that can view psp files) is welcome to have a look...

I used to have a Harlequins maze map but i lost it in a somewhat recent formatting of C: >_<
