I believe the Wolves are gonna take it all this year. Being from Minnesota of course thats what i'm going to think. And it really sucks that i started this on a loseing night, the lost to....Philidelphia i believe? anyway, it was a bunch of crap, philidelphia blows. Facts are they got Garnett, Cassells, Szerbiak, and Spreewell. Garnetts takin MVP no matta what  ...He's just the best in the gane...Cassells has one of the best freethrow shots in the NBA, and with Szerbiak and Spreewell next to him, they smoke most competition....awww man, if only our team did as good this year as the T-wolves are, we wouldn't have ended up with a loseing record...Go Eagles!!!! /cry I think Varsity only won 1 game :)

you should talk about sam's leadership, and his amazing passing ability while being able to make his own shots, not his amazing free throwing ability. it's not longer wally's world, he has to keep fighting for his spot, which is good because it hink he has a lot more talent and needs to be pushed to achieve that level. it's true, kg is gonna take mvp, but that don't mean nuts when you're sitting there without a ring. just ask malone or gp.
i could go on, but i gotta get back to my team. yeah, we're going to take it all the way this year. we lost a lot of talent, but we're making a huge turn around. we have a helluva coach, and he'll only get better. the trouble is getting talent and keep it. we can beat great teams, but we loose to mediocre and win 50/50 against bad teams. we will reach the playoffs this year, we will be the cinderella story. my team: the golden state warriors.

i hear you all laughing, but we'll show you, we'll show you all!!!! harh harh ar rahcry cry harh ahrahr ahr.

Cmon, it doesn't matter whether Garnett has a ring or not. He's one of the best players in the NBA, he got player of the month AGAIN, 3rd month in a row, December, January, Febuary. Garnett is the whole reason the timberwolves are were they are now: 2 reasons, ONE:he's just a great all-around player. TWO: the reason sam cassell and spreewell are in Minnesota right now is because Garnett was given a list of point guards he wanted, he chose Cassells and spreewell, because their a couple very expierienced guys who know what the heck they're doing. I think he made a great choice, and I know nothing about golden state really, but i'll take a look at them right now...or whenever i get a chance to, tired from my BB game, we won :)
78 to 38 i believe, i onlyu got 6 points but about 10 assists

ok....maybe a little bit too much credit to Garnett, but he works hard on the court, and everyone knows he makes a difference everytime he steps to the floor.

Sry buddy but the wolves arnt goin to win cause the pistions r goin to kick there A$$. I mean with the trade of rasheed to them they r now unstopable they have big benn best def. player in the league they have rasheed now who at the beggining of the year had the most points per game they also got billups who is one of the best point gaurds in the league. they got rip who scores at least 18 ppg plus they go tashon prince who is probly one of the fasted develuping players in the league so sry to say but you wolves r goin down and the pistions r movin on to win the championship

Whoa.. That's some mean colouration!!

Curling: The thing on ice, where they have to slide there thingy nearest the centre.. And they clean the ice too..

It's one of those boring sports you have to have been watching for years to see a bit of excitement, usually someone falling over.

no way mang, curling is intense. do you see how quickly the clean that ice? and that ice is clean! i could never clean ice like that, not if i practiced for a million years.

seriously though, curling is cool to watch as long as it's in that sporting event held every four years. i think it's called bolympics or something.

and yes, the pistons seem very intimadating this year, they're a big physical team that has a couple of shooters. but there are some key factors; one is that they're still a relatively young team. true they got into the playoffs last year, but they didn't get that deep, and they could use a littole more experience. that won't be their complete downfall at all, just saying. also, they can't play the fast transition game. with a lot of big men, they have to run baseline to baseline, and any fast paced team will just tire them out. the late addidtion of rasheed means that it'll take some time for him to get into the flow of the team. i know he's got a good start (good numbers, double double nightly i believe off the top of my head), but compared to what he can do after a year with the team, it's just not gonna be good enough to beat the well oiled western teams. I mean, no one has an answer to shaq, hands down. and the pistons will grab more boards against the kings, but they have two benches of shooters with the best passing in the league that'll tear the pistons apart. and the against the mavericks, they'll just flat out outscore the pistons becuase, well, that's how they win all their games.

i don't really follow the eastern conference because there's usually some paint drying to watch or some grass growth i have to monitor before i find toime for that. face it, you're living in a west coast league.

Yea, i thought thats what curling was, never seen it played though.

OK....

the t-wolves, as i already said have a great starting 3-Garnett, cassells, and Spreewell. I don't count on Szerbiak anymore. He's just not his old self yet. Everyteam has it's stars, they'll all make a difference everytime they play. Garnett can outplay other posts, and cassells can contend with any guard. Timberwolves play as a team, they come together in close games, and can easily rely on bench players like Hudson, who has been playing fantastic lately. They are just overall, a great team, 2nd in NBA still i believe, but doesn't matter when it comes down to it.

Good luck to your teams those that posted, And good luck to the Wolves tonight.

well, the mavs held on for a little while. Ended up Wolves 121-tied season high, and mavs 97. Wolves had it from the beginning, never giveing up the lead once the whole game, although it was within 2 a couple times. Garnett finished with 28, a great way to start his next performance for player of the month :) and spreewell is now ranked 25th all-time in threes, and like 78 or something in all-time points. i think he hit 4 or 5 3's tonight. Hudson was smokin it up once Cassell got taken out after he got T'ed up. But it was a great game, it's good to end the mav's 6 game winning streak, and get a win off the recent loss.

Go Wolves

what man you dont know what your talkin bout the pistons have been in the playoff the past 3 years they have also had the best recoard in the east for the past 3 years and now they r becomin even more powerfull. and what r you sayin about they cant run fast transition games well just to let you know there one of the only teams i watch and trust me they can. O ya and the lakers man they suck this year i mean if you think there better then the pistons well buddy your wrong cause if im not mistaken im pritty sure the pistions have beat the lakers every time but if i am wrong on that one well i do know for sure that the pistions have won more games this year then the lakers. and what r you sayin bout the west been so stronge i think that all in the past cause by the looks of it the west is goin to have a tough time this year beaten both the pistions and the pacers. O ya that whole shaq thing to just remmeber who is the deff. player of the year the past couple of years BIG BENN that who.

PS: you gota keep hopen the t-wolves do good this year cause from what ive been hearin K-G is gone in the year to come and i also heard he wants to come to detroit not only cause there a good team but because his best friend Bullups is on the team. if im not right correct me but im pritty sure im right

Haven't posted for quite awhile, but anyway the wolves got past the first round for first time in their history, thats a plus. Also Garnet got MVP recently..or at least it is expected to be announed or something.
Nuggets are out, wolves are in. I still think theres a good chance.

For a minute i thought yall were talking about hockey, because the only thing i know about basketball, or basketball teams for that matter is the hot dudes. Im
serious all these guys are built and look like brad pitt... its like heaven when i go to a game :) But the only thing better than hot basketball players is hot hockey players because then you get to watch knock the moose out of each against the wall and if you get a really good spot you can see their mouth peices :)

Lakers took game 1, very good game i'de have to say, i broke the chair i was sitting on i was so pissed at the end of the game though...... We need an ansawer to shaq, our big-men are like half his size and skill-level so....Kobe is in check with Hassle guarding him and there some big problems with cassel and his back, Garnet needs to keep up what he is doin, and by the way, game 7 with the kings Garnett scored every single 4th quarter field goal for the wolves; now That is a MVP performance. We need to stay on shaq and try to get him in foul-trouble tommarrow or we'll be hurting.

--Best of luck to the Wolves in game 2--O yea, a very Happy Birthday to Kevin Garnett on Wednesday :)
