If somebody, or something makes you angry, how do you to react to it?

Usually i'd shout at them, kick things, or even them :)
To handle my anger, i try to sleep, because by the time i've woken up im no longer angry.

I rarely get angry outwardly, I prefer to write.
Last time I got angry physically, I put my fist through my door and ripped it off the hinges.

Suprisingly I didn't cut myself once doing that (and yes, they must have been weak hinges).

My guitar is my emotion. If i'm angry, sad, depressed or even happy, i play the guitar and i feel better.

I'm silent, I don't talk alot and I difenitely don't get angry a lot, and even if I'm angry its not enough for me to do anything...normally I have to be pissed off to act out, via kicking wood furniture and punching doors or just not doing anything at all which is normally my solution to most things, and occassionally if I feel like it I'll just let it out via writing.

It's rare that I get truly angry. Even so, I just let it go. No sense in being angry because the cause was most likely something ridiculous to begin with.

Most common response to annoyances: ignoring them

I tend to have a very short temper. I've learned to hold in my anger a little bit but it ends up coming out anyway. I'll yell or shove a person or even hit a wall or other objects. I tend to cool down quickly though. Just don't speak to me while I'm angry.

Angry music does not help angry feelings.

Helps just as much as depressing much helps depressed people.

I like to call it a mood enhancer.

I listen to depressing music to make myself feel worse.
And I listen to angry music to breed more anger.
When I'm happy I listen to Hanson :) (j/k)

I just love feeling any emotion.

Angry music does not help angry feelings.

Yes it does; it lets your anger out with their screaming.

i'll just clown on the person if i'm mad at them. the madder i get, the worse and loewr blows i'll throw. like a buddy comes home with pretty, ummm, rotund women, and referencing that is always a crowd pleaser.

if i'm heated, though, either surf, go to the gym (that works great when you're just irritated, you put up so much wieght), go to a girl's house (because they're girls, and i can't yell at them....and they have food and smell nice).

add liquor to the equation and it's totally different. two fights in the last three weekends. i really beat the nuts out of them too. funny, i felt better immediately, go figure.

What I do when I'm angry is, get fussed and look annoyed, then I go look in the mirror and I think, 'hey, your sexy when your angry', and then I have to smile, well, because I am.

if im depressed i like to listen to Dashboard Confessionals. This is because their music is so 'involved' with my problems. The situations and feelings they sing about are very similar to how i feel or what i've been through. So this means that somebody understands me, and my emotions and that i'm not alone. It helps alot.

You all need to learn not to care so much. Then, when a problem comes your way, you can shrug it off.

There's pros and cons, but I think the pros definitely are worth it.

I don't quite believe that statement. However, to be on an intelligent level, you have to experience a nice chunk of life, and in that time, you will have wants. It's kind of contradictory. I don't know.

Yeah i agree with that most definately. It's like breaking up with somebody, because you want them, you become depressed. It's also like money, if you have no money you become sad, why? because you WANT money.

But life is all about wanting something.

of course, yes.. but the majority of depression and anger is caused by wanting something, or somebody.

Many times,
After a heated fight or
Some kind of arguement,
There will be times where
Un-checked anger will cause a sudden
Release of anger.
Believe me,
At times like these, it is best
To release this
Energy through other means.
A good post is like a miniskirt: short enough to pertain interest and long enough to cover the subject.
