Hey All,

 

I was thinking how cool it would be to introduce the ivory guard as a small % drop from the Stampeding Elephants in the Cauldron of Shadows?

 

This would mean that the Black Sword could be crafted and add some diversity to the game in regards to training instead of just hitting the same old hotspots.

 

Thoughts?

I think Mike and I may be the only ones who have this questie (?). I support it being craftable, though no thoughts on what would drop Ivory Guard.
It seems like the tables are a bit low for being a training weapon, but I see no issue with it coming out as gear accessible via play rather than a one-off.

I'm all for making this craftable... and it always was meant to be, but as hinted, I'm not sure how and where to make the Ivory Guard available, or how to make it appealing (although I can probably work that one out in time).

That would be awesome, it's always nice to have options when training. Grinding the same training areas over and over can become very tedious and monotonous.

 

You could possibly add a mini boss of sorts in the Cauldron of Shadows who rides one of Elephants which could drop the guard?, or it could be a rare drop from the Stampeding Elephants?

I would note that it doesn't really even need to be particularly rare. I don't use the Black Sword because the 1.25 multipliers don't do a whole lot. So, a daily mini-boss with a semi-common drop of Ivory Guard would make sense.
