As I'm sure most of you have seen. E-bay is an auction site.
What I propose is something very similar for selling crits. It'll save on forum space, and hopefully speed up the sale process.
To start with, you'll log onto the character you're looking to sell, equip everything it'll be sold with.
Then you type
/auction [crit name]/[reserve price]/[main character]
Example:
/auction Death/750000gold/Bahthius
You could also do:
/auction Death/crystal ring,crystal ring/Bahthius
That'd then set the minimum bid someone will have to achieve to get the character.
You bid via the site, with an e-bay type page for each character, laid out with the character picture (pointless, but hey), characters stats and other information, and then what the character is coming with.
Now, before you say 'but the person can change the character in some way' or 'what if someone bids then loses their gold'.
Upon placing a character on the site, you have to accept that your character will be put on 'lock down', meaning you're unable to move it once logged into the game, nor remove anything from the character.
Also, the current top bidder has the same limitations on their bank account/bidded items. Unable to remove that gold/item (item would have to be stored in Personal Storage to be liable for auction).
Well, that was abit more longwinded than I had hoped. But, there it is. I'm not looking to get the idea into the game, as I've said with previous ideas. I jsut hope it spawns some inspiration into someone who can come up with a better version.

no need, use the buyitnow feature, otherwise known as the sell board instead of auction if you have a fixed price in mind

I support this because it seems to be the easiedt and most hassle-free.
