I know its been suggested before but I didn't see the old thread to bump so I just made a new one.

I think the time has come that /toggle who should be removed off multi, I don't know how many supporters I would get for this but I think it is worth another post. The playerbase keeps sliding downhill numbers wise and it couldn't hurt for new players/returning players to see some active people once and a while(not everyone knows to type /server to check or check clan lists). There is enough things implemented already that if you're a "lone wolf" like myself and wish to avoid convo sometimes you can easily /dnd and /ignorepc if you're being bothered. I don't really see a benefit of having /toggle who other than being able to hide out and make people think there is noone online lol.

nice! more support than I thought lol could we maybe get staff's opinion? or get the idea passed along to JLH? I think it could only benefit the playerbase to see more active people..

I took all my alts off /toggle who, so I suppose that works for now.

There's a novel concept... I suppose if the people don't want /toggle who, then the people could just not use /toggle who.

No need for staff to intervene where the player base can make the change, I suppose...

Interesting.

Haha thats what I was thinking although I doubt many beyond the few in the post would untoggle. I guess even if a few of us turn it off it will make the server look a bit more active but if it was removed completely we would be able to see how active the server is and when peak times are. The main reason I posted the idea is so new players/returning players wouldn't see a seemingly inactive server. Then, if there is enough players online on a consistant basis.. maybe we could coax staff into looking into a new area, a quest once and a great while or maybe even an event if there are enough on in peak times. If it doesn't gain enough interest or staff doesn't feel its neccesary to put the time in, I'll just turn off mine and know I'm trying to do my part lol.
