To be honest i've got no clue if you can decraft items.. think you should be able too for example .. I really dont need this extra guild ring i got in a trade and find the cr's alot more useful...

prob gonna get shot down but figure its worth a shot

i would support it if you get less back than it takes to make it..so in the case of a guild ring, two cr's instead of three

In that particular instance, breaking the Guild of Crafters Membership Ring, if possible without damaging the components, will yield not Crystal Rings, but Crystal Runes, and I think you'll find that those are exchanged with Crystal Templar rather than transmuted. So to get the Crystal Rings back either requires breaking consistency and role-play, or bribing a potentially disgruntled Crystal Templar to give back the ring.

I am against all of the un-crafting suggestions that I have seen here.
Certain portions might make sense---things that are not actually transformed when crafted, such as the Viper Claws, which are simply mechanically put together.

However, I am not in favor of putting any reverse crafting in-game right now, since it would only cause people to want it to be expanded to things that do not make sense.
