I have thought about it for a while and marriage seems to be something that is common on nightmist. I know that im not the onlu one that thinks its a pain to have to type out a personal emote for the occasion, i know that people like the idea of doing that, i do it on occassion myself, personal emotes are the reason /me was invented.

but to pull to some of the less creative out there i suggest that there be an emote added for them

your screen: You get down on one knee and propose!

other screen: <sender gets down on one knee and proposes!

Another emote to be added would be something for those with weak stomaches in the game. i know there are times where people have said things that in real life would trigger anyones gag reflex.

so i suggest an emote for them:

/(gag,vomit,sick)

your screen: You (gag/vomit/get sick) all over the ground.

other screen: <sender> (gags/vomits/gets sick) all over the ground.

Would be an interesting emote to see used. Only concern is about a non-targeted use of it.

something like

<name> shows off his strength by dropkicking a(n) <to be filled in>!

if to be used in a non-target style something needs to be filled in there. any ideas?

but if set to be used only as a targeting emote, then yeah id love to see it added, only concern would be one of those situations for people who like to get tough with the keyboard, or someone wanted to start a big fight in a public area, but then again that is there fault for using it in such a way.

Tommy dear you know i love you but the whole /purpose thing is an easy way to get out of being romantic! what girl wants to marry someone who is to lazy to type a little something with feeling! i myself think the comand /purpose is ok, a idea to be thought about, but if someone used /purpose on me i would prob /hit <said person> theres gotta be some girl out there that agrees with me on this one if not nightmist woman are doooomed!!!

um..... if you look above to the first post.... it does say that i was thinking about the uncreative people on nightmist when i threw that idea out, other than that i prefer to do a personal /me emote for the occassion of marriage, it adds that personal touch. same with how i use the personal /me emotes for decoration, since i cant physically set a descrip to a preset area... the /me emote comes in handy for decorations.

yes yes i know "uncreative people on nightmist" but i would still hit this uncreative person for useing that command there are to many of those kind of people, girls! if your man doesnt romance you dont give it up!!!!! lol plus boy when you purposed to me it was just "Shapeshifter: Ashley, will you marry me" so are you uncreative!? nah my hunny is the KING of nightmist /me comands!!!!!

I never said I was creative, and i never said i wasnt... sometimes its the simpler things in life that make things more precious.

i was just suggesting it as a way to break away from the mundayne.. so people that couldnt think of anything to use would have a backup.

and thats just the spoken words, the emote was supposed to be for what happens before those words are spoken, like the *<name> gets down on one knee and looks up at his lover's shining face....* or whatever, i still prefer the personal touch given by the /me emote, thats why it was put in the game, to make up for all the emotes that arent pre-written.

it should just be the whole getting on one knee and looking up so they are forced to at LEAST say will you marry me

anyways, some people are just that lazy, im sorry to admit it but its true, though i do like the idea of the
(s)he thing makes for a better scenario and would eliminate the confusion if a girl proposed to a guy (though its not the way it should happen it still does, i mean HELLO GUYS WAKE UP! she likes you!).

Anyways yeah i still support the /dropkick emote, but to the extension that when it is untargeted needs to have a function. and if we are going to use the example i set up, it needs to be finished.

Woot! Staff input, now we're getting somewhere, now just to get some confirmation that this is on its way to developement, and those that continue to look, help us develope something for /dropkick, we still need something for them to be kicking when the emote is non targeted.
