What happens to the gold, when a crit is deleted, but still has items for sale?

im guessing the gold is lost...

Would have thought so. Is why it's sometimes a good idea to look out for when the larger players delete a character name, or get caught doing naughty stuff. Can sometimes get free items.

Had SGs and a Halberd from doing that before

No. Just the gold vanishes.

However, if you make the character with that name, then buy the item, you can get your gold back. It's a little loop-hole.

dont you mean get the items back? the gold disappears and if you buy the item you get no gold back...just the item itself

you get your own gold back (on the named character) and the item and the character you bought it from

bigboy put a Halberd on the website for 100k.

Three months later that character no longer exists.

I notice this fact, and create the character bigboy. Then using my main I buy the Halberd. My new lvl one, bigboy, has my gold, I have the Halberd on my main.

Exactly, so there is no money to be made unless you sell the item you aquired. You buy the item with your gold and the gold goes back onto the restored crit. The only thing you gain is a free item. Were all saying the same thing its just a matter of interpretation that confuses whats being said.

The money from the sale of items belonging to deleted characters it put into an account owned by Lord Hucktou. Hucktou is the keeper of Pandilex's Tower. He was hired by Pandilex to oversee the building of the tower and stock it with big fluffy dragons. Upon realizing what a task it was to feed the dragons Pandilex contracted him to look after them while he was away. Currently the larger dragons feed on Dwarven slaves that are imported from Harabec. The smaller ones feed on the Water Fairies found in the shallow stream which Hucktou himself captures.

It is very important to continue to post useless items on the website forsale pages and delete the characters. Because if we don't, and the dragons are not fed they will flee the tower in search of the food they need. Hucktou has done a wonderful job of keeping them fed. But it is rumored that it they ever do escape in search of food that within hours the whole population of Nightmist City will be consumed. Leaving nothing more then a ghost town. It is also important if you are unable to delete characters with items on site that you goto the tower doors and throw deer meat to the east through the large open window in the front.

WARNING Staff will threaten you with bans for the throwing of deer meat into the tower of Pandilex. Pandilex himself will jail you if caught. This however is only discourage you from feeding the dragons. By freeing the dragons and allowing the city of Nightmist to continue to thrive staff are obligated to work. The threats and jail sentences are only to discourage you so that they can sit around and do nothing. So it is of the upmost importance that we continue to feed the dragons so that those who are so consumed by the powers they have are forced to work for the rich citizens of Nightmist for FREE!!!
