Recently i have been playin and all of a suddon i get lagged out and disconnected, this was particually annoying when i was in a mosh (well done Jared) and about 4-5 of the crits in the mosh (including myself) were disconnected due to lag... not happy

I would just like to know how long this is going to continue for as trainin is becoming more difficult and i cant arch a crit if he wont stay logged on.

yea ive had the same problem.. i wont even have to be doing anything logged on one crit and sitting there and i get booted

then leave.. pure arrogance, read whats been posted jlh clearly says it's his isp (isp = internet service provider, cuz you don't seem to realize this) is nothing jlh or anyone can do about it unless your his isp?

Yeah but if he has this much problem with his ISP which sorry JLH, it's more than occassional work, then how does he expect to gain player base for NM2 when that comes out? Who is gonna pay for a game that lags the majority of the time? I know it's not my comp lagging because when there is horrendous lag, I always ask other people if they are lagging too and sure enough they are too. In case anyone was wondering, raised this same question too in this topic http://www.nightmist...opic=15184&st=0 (that was where I got the supposed occassional work done which seems almost like every 3-4 days)

The only way to get a 99.9% reliable connection with a service level agreement is to get a leased line, where 2mbit up and down would cost in the region of $10,000/year, which I can't afford for this non-profit game. If you wish to donate that much every year, then something can be sorted out.

Please ppl that moan constantly about issues should just leave, get rid of the whiners and now all we gotta do is get rid of the thieves, at least if the whiners left we won't be outnumbered 10:1.


You are all lucky JLH didn't shut nm down ages ago, and all you can do is tell him you are planing on leaving if it continues. What you think hes gonna do take off his magic hat and pull a leased line out of the hat or perhaps while we're there we might aswell get a line straight to your house from JLH's set on priority just so that you don't stop playing.
