They mean, use a low lvl crit, take alot of gold out of town, get that lvl 1 crit killed by a monster, then use your thief to steal the gold off that monster.. It isn't amount*5.. For every 2k+ gold you steal.. You'll get 10k exp..

Ok, now say on the first steal, you get 25k.. It doesn't work anymore, does it You still only get 10k exp...
And you don't get 5k exp for stealing 1k either

i did that on a none double exp day also 70 mil exp from 10k caped exp on a stams steal
