here's a thought make thieves have advanced steal :p
this would make it possible to steal items from players inventory (like real thieves can steal camera's and stuff)
this would take all stamina though (amount of stamina also influences chance to succeed like when you have 5 stam and steal you have a bigger chance then with 2 stam).
You can only steal 1 item at a time (if your lucky you steal sg's if your unlucky you steal nothing or basic mana or something)
Also make thieves have small knifes or shuriken they can throw at ppl (from a diff square) and do little damage 20 - 25.
Maybe have thieves buy the throwing items? You would have to deceide if you buy alot of pots or more throwing items :p

I think he just used the sg's as an example that you could get lucky enough to steal them if someone was stupid enough to not keep them equipped.

The bit were you said (from a diff square) thats like making thiefs invincible as they could have loads of these knifes, and chuck em in every direction they could think of.

and like i said the knifes won't do much damage like 20 damage so if i throuw 5 knifes (then i'm out of stam) i do 100 damage :p
it would be smarter to throw 4 knifes and hide again
or throw 3 knifes wait to you regain your stam then move in for an assassinate :p but that wouldn't make them invincible :p

i don't think it's possible cuz thieves have a max of 5 stam so you can hit max 5 times (you can miss to) and after that you can't move cuz your out of stam and you lost cover so enemy should be able to get you then :p

GD if you look around rangers have 1 bow for lvl 25+ lets see fighters/pallys have BoT, CSoTW, Halberd, Rune Blade, Rune Staff, and a Christmas Blade. Thieves have, Emerald Dagger, Dagger of the Winds, and Dagger of Sprits. Rangers have 1 bow its not even vamparic. A mage with AoP could easily take a ranger. Thieves are fine, infact there one of the best classes out right now.
