I'm sure JLH/Pandilex have their reasons for not letting elf and half elfs be paladins, so stop your whining. Maybe if you actually post without swearing, using caps lock or insulting people you might get a nicer answer.

Your whining by making this post, if you actually ask in a nice way people might listen to you without having a go at you. Try it sometime.
I think you just answered your own question: elves and half-elves would make good pallys, so JLH/Pandilex decided they shouldn't be pallys.

you can't just pick up a sword and say you're a paladin, it takes time, effort and perseverence...
(I'm guessing) Most races (in the Nightmist Realm) have frowned upon the paladin-practice since it is a very time consuming journey. Time spent meditating and learning the paladin ways could be better spent improving someone's bowmanship or sword-play proficiency(sp?) or even improving someone's magical abilities.
...lol now i'm probably gonna have all these people yelling at me for what i think of paladins.......be gentle

It seems that the profession of Cleric or Pacifist would be much harder than that of a Paladin. You can be almost every race with these.

Now on-topic, I think it would make sense for Half-Elves to be able to be a Paladin. They are not so different from their Human brethren that they should be excluded from this class, are they?

Regardless of films and such, if a dwarf can pull off being a thief, a half-elf IMO would make a rather capable Paladin. As for Elves being paladins, well it would make more sense to me than having halflings for them...
