Dwarves are small and could be hard to spot. Elf and Half-Elf Paladins would seem stupid. Going around chopping your ankles shouting 'Raaaah I bite your knee-caps!'

Ok, you've been reading the Narnia series faaaaaaar too long. Your looking at elves with the depiction of a childrens book. The more commonly accepted image of elves, are a tall, thin, solitary and agile people, who commonly have lighter shades of hair and pale skin. They are supreme archers, and reknown for their mastery of magic.

As for dwarves being believable as thieves? How are fat, cumbersome, noisy runts who can't even touch thier own toes, justified as being thieves? Small and hard to spot my azz, what they lack in height, they make up for in girth.

1/2lings would make good thieves too... seeing as they are small and quick...

But elves are supreme thieves/assassins/archers/rangers all round... hands down...

Elves would make Pallys amazing... but if they can't be pallys in D&D then i dont want them here...
1/2 elves however could work, since i rarely see a half-elf...

That has got to be, single handedly, the most retarded remark I have read all year, congratulations. You want D&D? You go play D&D. Quit polluting other peoples minds with your unoriginal drivel.
