Considering you can hide spell names I think it would be a nice little addition to be able to hide ability names also.
Ex. Like Forage and Flaming Arrow
Whatever skills/abilities you dont use.

Why not just change your skin to not display the abilities. Hiding them will not do anything except leave that area blank (though the area will still be there, reserving space on your screen). I don't see any need for it to be coded; also, if it's 'hidden' then you can't use it.

It would need to be hidden for the same reason as spells. You can use spells when there hidden, you just do /cast spell name/target.

For mage who can do that now it helps them this way..
Have macros set for armor/haste/invis
then couple macros set to cast beam on someone..
So then you could hide, armor/haste(self casting spells).
Then, you could hide some of the dmg spells, if u know your not going to use, such as perhaps flame..
Then, hide the spells u never use at all.(the lower armor spells as an example).
Now, just incase u wanna play around with shock or blast or invis ppl without setting to macros, they are easy to find, and quick to click on..
No scrolling envolve to get to them(yes scrolling is envolve to get some of the spells, if you have none hidden).
this would basically be good for classes that have lots of abilitys/spells..(because not all spells are usefull or needed for certain people, some spells are self casting only, and cant be cast on people, so they can just be macros then hide..)
Say you have a ability, that u don't use much, but every now and then its used to help in fights, but you can't macros it, no empty macros button and not used enough to be macroed.
If none of the more useless abilitys/spells or ones that are macroed are hidden, and you have to scroll to get to this ability, it will cost time that could cause you to lose the fight..
Yes I know, not many abilitys/spells as of now on some of the classes, but however, more are added on, this would be needed more.
