was wondering if anyone can tell me the modifiers of each race. bonuses/drawbacks. and im not talking about stats. im talking about things such as "do certain races hit harder/more often than others?" "do they have any natural resistance to magic?" "do they regain hp/mp any faster than others?"
 all i know for sure right now is that halflings get a natural 7 armor....anyone know any more?

RACES  
 
1) Dwarfs - get +5% damage underground.  
 
2) Elves - get +5% damage in forests.  
 
3) Gnomes - get +5% chance to resist spells.  
 
4) Halflings - get +7 ac due to size.  
 
5) Half-Elves - get +2.5% damage in forests and will get attribute point skills 1.5% cheaper.  
 
6) Humans - will get attribute point skills 4% cheaper.

Does this armor count as real armor (like that from a shield) and if so why does it not show up on the crit?

1/2 orc fighters can get armor :p so for berzerkers it's kinda useless i think although i thin i read something about all crits having some basic armor rating but don't really remember that :p
