I think it was more that no one wanted to bother replying. I'd say no because I don't see any logic given for why that would work. Wisdom is more about how much you know. Enhancing strength has more to do with how strong a person is befoe you enhance them because there is more to make even stronger if there is more to begin with. At least that is how I see it, and how it is in game.

for pally, wis affects how large the bonus is with enhancing spells. I'm not sure if wis is the same for cleric...simply because I just started my first cleric in the last few days...but I do know that the spell "enhance" gives more if the target's str is high.
