Spell - Dark Purification
Description - By summoning a beam of pure black light a experience mage can confuse his foe. It requires mages to accumulate all the knowlege they have aquired over their long lives. A mages appearence becomes unclear while the opponent attempt to attack them.
Level req.- 30
Stamina use - 5
Duration - 1 minute

I think the mana cost should be upped slightly to 10. I like the spell, it's a nice idea. As far as the description and name go, it doesn't quite make sense to me. Dark Purification Just doesn't sound like a fitting name for the spell from the description.

I agree.. You know how annoying and ugly it is to look at a spell name on ur list when its too big and has to take up two lines? i think 'confusion' will work fine.

Hmm...personally I dont really like the sound of this spell. First of all does it act on an entire square, or just an aimed at person? 5 stamina cost is extreme, not only would it take a lot of mana, but the mage would be even more defensless than they are at present time.
I agree that mages are probably the most underdeveloped class in Nightmist, and something needs to be done, but I dont think this is the spell to do it.
