I dont know if this has been fully brought up before if it has my apologies

I know that partying with other classes has been ruled out because all other classes are offensive . . .

But would pacifists be able to party with each other so you dont have to train alone etc . . .

I think it would be pretty cool if they could party with other pacifists, would make training slightly easier.

I think maybe the idea of that is so that you cant take 8 pacifists into the SK very easily and stuff..cause then you could own it and the demonic general w/o anyone being able to really stop you since there is a limit on how many monsters they could drag to the square. (i just put 14 golden spiders on a crit so i can try to get 4 or 5 lvl 20+ pacifists kind of fast and go do that)

I think they should be able to party with other pacifists but make to fix that sk/dg problem, make it so that only a certain amount can party together like 3-4. It would make leveling a little easier and they wouldn't be able to take those bosses quite as easily.

I vote for only allowing partying with other players pacifists, ie only partying wtih pacifists and no alts. Smiley cause using alts does entirely ruin the whole role playing thang Smiley

What if one were to take a ranger-led party. . . . would that not be able to follow a pacifist  Huh
but then again. . . I've never even tried to lead with a ranger. . . so I don't know if they can drag a party with them
. . . I'm not too bright. . . so feel free to ignore this  Embarassed

If I wanted to take 8 Pacifists to either boss I could do it without partying them its not that far to either boss golden spiders are extremely easy to obtain and once you get into the barracks its easy to move crits round slowly 1 at a time as Demonic Soldiers dont track . . .

I see Pacifists as a class you would use to roleplay to explore with  . . . and exploring/roleplaying alone I can't see as much fun

But there again if these crits are meant to be roleplayers in taverns then a party command is not needed

What about Clerics.  They are not exactly offensive.

And rangers, they are sort of like woodsman.

Thats sort of making generalizations there.  My cleric does the same thing pacifists do.  Only they can party!

I wasnt saying i support not letting them party, that takes any fun in training and stuff away...the guy who was testing pacifists (apothecary) was talking to me, he seemed kind of new to the game and stuff....dunno..might have just been pretending...but he seemed pretty bored, i trained with him with halflife for a while...we'd just agree on what direction to go then move...it was kind of pointless to have to do that instead of just leting a pacifist party...

I'm just wondering, could any staff reply and tell why they arent allowed to join parties?  Especially all pacifist parties.

o and despair, i completely get where you're comming from...taking them 1 at a time to DG wouldnt be too hard, SK would be just plain easy..its like..15-20 squares from town isnt it?  I stored up 14 golden spiders on a crit and just left it in bt so i can go to SK whenever and stuff...but you must admit..itd be annoying to have to keep getting golden spiders wouldnt it?

I agree but there again I can't say much when I was bored I used to train down there and collect golden spiders and at one time you could also get away with selling them for 10k+

I've just had an idea which may prevent using multiple pacifist alts for killing bosses  Grin (Makes a new thread)
