Surrounded by a cloud of ash that flickers with tiny sparks, it is difficult to get a clear look at the Brimstone Serpent. Flashes of its wings, tail, and blackened claws are not nearly as frightening as the occasional glimpse of two yellowed eyes staring intently at you as it inhales slowly, preparing to shower fire and ash on any foolish enough to stand in its way. Its body is covered in black scales and a reddish glow that peeks through around the edge of each individual scale, giving it the appearance of a smouldering coal from a dieing but still very hot fire.

The Brimstone Serpent is a classical, animalistic dragon (i.e. it does not exhibit intelligence) that attacks you with a range of fiery spells as well as lashing you directly with its body occasionally, but still attacking very frequently. Its damage ranges from under 50 to over 140, and in terms of raw power it is not too dissimilar from the [[Blue Dragon]], although as only 15 crits can fight it, the difficulty is far higher.
