Here's what happens to me:

Start Nightmist
Enter username & password
click login
presented with account manager screen as usual
click a button to select a character to play
long delay, and finally get the message, connection dropped by other end

it never pulls up the character screen. I'm using a skin if that matters.

I can't login from Iowa in central United States - we are GMT - 6, so GMT would be 3 AM, June 21st. Tried rebooting, alternate DNS, am on dialup via NetZero Turbo, and haven't been able to login all day.

(1.The electricity was all over the place, anyone involved in the battle on the ground would have been hit to some extent. 2.The eagle is not Bremen. Bremen is currently rescuing Steven. Read the posts. 3.I never said you dropped the stone, I was assuming you would be stunned. Perhaps the eagle didn't wait to see how you would be affected. 4.I never gave any indication that Bremen is or ever was a paladin. 5.Your supposed to be a paladin. Act like one. 6.An eagle has such good hearing that at that range, it would know you were coming almost before you did.)

Bremen grabbed Steven and and lifted him quickly out of Galeb's reach. Then Bremen cast a spell on Steven to counteract the effects of his lightning bolt. Next, Bremen called one of the eagles down and placed Steven on its back. Finally, as the eagle carried Steven up into the air, Bremen turned his attention back to Galeb.

Seeing Deamon begin the transformation, Bremen launched the energy he had gathered at a new target: Galeb. The spell took the form of a lightning bolt that sent a wave of electricity up and down the street. (lighting bolt stuns for an hour, shock wave stuns everyone on the ground for about 30-60 seconds, depending on range and assuming no special resistance.) Then Bremen swooped down to deal with Galeb before he could recover. The two eagles that had been attacking Deamon worked to gain altitude again.

The King of Eagles was protected from the electricity by Bremens shield. When Opie was hit, he reached down to gently take the stone with his beak.

As the two eagles tried to drag Deamon to the ground, Bremen spotted Charon heading towards Opie. Time for a diversion, he thought, summoning fog to thick to see through in the air, yet almost clear at ground level. Then he began to draw upon large amounts of energy in preparation for his next spell.
