A number of the 1-alt changes below will be ported over to multi-alt in the near future
1-alt Server
Gameplay changes
- XP loss at death is now capped at 5,000,000.
- You no longer drop weapons when you die.
- Monster damage tables now rely on a hidden 'class' stat on monsters rather than their name, so now it pays to read over their descriptions!
- Class and racial damage bonuses now properly affect all spells and abilities (e.g. Elf Rangers get increased damage in forests).
- If you fizzle a spell, half the mana cost is refunded, rounded down.
- /pickplayers now works in parties outside of clanhouses.
- Enchanted areas now grant +10% to spell damage.
- Gaea's Blessing now gives a flat +10% boost to melee damage rather than it depending on base Wisdom (modifiers had no effect).
- Haste mana cost has been increased from 40 MP to 80 MP, but its duration has been doubled and, for non-Mages, now relies purely on Wisdom instead of Wisdom and Intelligence combined.
- Devastate has been completely reworked into a spell that uses all stamina for a flat mana cost.
- Mages regenerate an extra mana point from level 35 onwards.
- Charisma modifiers now affect a Ranger's chance to hypnotise.
- Nerf to Assassinate has been reverted (i.e. minimum damage has been increased).
Monster changes:
- A large number of monsters and bosses have had their magic resistance reduced.
- The Injured Eagle is now immune to Depurate Undead and now actually has to be healed.
Area changes:
- Some Snow Wight spawns on the Eastern side of the Katahdin Tundra have been replaced with Skeletal Wights.
- Some of the nocturnal monsters in the Large Forest can now spawn inside the Arilin City Arenas.
Item changes:
- Barrier Ring magic absorb increased from 0.1 to 0.2.
- The Cobalt Staff of the Winds and alternative versions have had their vamparic rating increased from 0.2 to 0.3.
- The Jolly Potion now gives 400 HP and 400 MP (and can be used even if you're not a magic user).
- Refreshing or consuming regular food and drink will no longer nullify the effects of longevity granted by Lembas and the Lifewater Potion.
- The Mana Core now fully recharges your health and mana (and can be used even if you're not a magic user).
- Nightshade Elixirs now restore only half stamina + 1 instead of full stamina.
Multi-alt Server
Monster changes:
- A large number of monsters and bosses have had their magic resistance reduced.
- Drider Warlord drop rate increased.

Additionally, there will be a massive addition in the near future, but it requires ironing out a couple of issues with the client. Watch this space!
