My suggestion is fairly simple and is as follows:

On the 1 alt server, at level 36 players are able to exchange a piece of equipment for a upgraded version. I.E. Cobalt Staff of the Winds for a Soul Ripper.

My suggestion is that this happen on the main server, but instead of being done at lvl 36, I suggest it be done at level 40.

Questions, Comments, Flames?

Edit:

There's still only a few level 40's on main. I think 3 zerks, 1 druid, 1 paladin, and 1 pacifist. So it's not like there's gonna be a flood of items to the server.

i think main just got enough new equips/weapons for awhile, dont need anymore, especially for a lvl 36 "exchange" like 1alt gets, 1alt doesnt have or get any of those platinum coin equips/weapons, only got an armor exchange cuz u lvl ur crit to grandmaster as a bonus, unlike on main, u get new stat modded armor at lvl 33 for a few coins, and then in a different slot, u get even better stat modded armor at lvl 35-38 for few more coins, so yeh like i said, i think they got enough new ones for to last yall awhile

Not saying it needs to be implemented now, or in the immediate future. Just something to consider as an addition later on.

/t bill And i'm not saying do it at level 36 on main, i'm saying doing it at level 40.

Edit: On top of there being very few existing level 40's. There aren't but maybe a dozen that are within 1 billion xp of it.

I think it would be a good idea. Give people more of a reason to actually play.

Let's see how the new grandmaster items affect the playerbase first... see if that encourages players to level up a bit.

In my opinion the Platinum Coin items would be majorly overpowered on 1a. Even if they were harder to obtain on there than main.

Platinum Coins on multi-alt only worked because there was an over-supply of major boss drops, hence they were losing value to the point it simply wasn't worth fighting the bosses in question. The exchange system attempts to alleviate this problem. 1-alt doesn't appear to have a supply problem yet, but we'll see where things lead.
