Not supported, admin time should be invested with things that actually matter.

Oh come on.. I'm lazy... that is way too much work and way too many of my "could be healing macros" taken away using 4 f keys just for movement, even with the /macroset command to switch sets... .. plus then the "u" and "d" really takes 6 out total.. unless I am supposed to lead with a hitter? and that is just not fun at all.

this was partly sarcastic but as I started thinking about macros on healers I actually became more in support of the original idea.

and a question for JC.. would ^ and v = north and south or up and down?

We've had a discussion about this before. I cannot remember what came of it.

It really made sense. You could lead with any character then and not have to have movement macros. It would be fairly useful - seriously.

However, I would rather see a method around the roller or help to Gareth on new features he would like for developing areas/monsters/equipment.

And JLH has actually given us a few updates over the past couple of years. So there is no longer an arguement saying, "That requires Admin coding; so it's hopeless."

Not exactly. JLH pushed the most recent 1a update almost a year ago now and that was the first update (programmatically speaking) in years. And the majority of that update were code changes that took very, very little time.

To put it into perspective: the suggestion on this thread, for example, would only take 20 seconds to implement.

So even though there has been a "recent" update it was very trivial relative how much time it took to implement and roll out. Therefore, I'd say any coding updates are pretty much hopeless.
Cogito, ergo sum; I think, therefore I am.
