im not sure how to even start this thread, because this is something that should have been placed in game since day one!



a party page system... or "raid warning" whatever you wanna call it.


getting people to pay attention sometimes is impossible. almost everyone comes back to nightmist when they hear the page sound...

(it be better if people would just pay attention but thats not going to happen...)

Nooo, not just for the party! It needs to be like, game wide. Like a staff announcement. It can even come with the badass gong sound! Amiright?

Actually, I can expand upon that stupidity and make it feasible.

/raid <boss>

Engine checks if boss is currently spawned. If it is, everyone ingame will get a message in all red letters.

"RAIDING TIME MOFOS! TIME TO PWN THE <insert boss>."

If it's not in, message isn't sent.

The message, although badass, I guess could be changed to better suit the game. But yeah, also keep the idea about the gong sound. A raid warning NEEDS a gong sound.

The idea makes having to run and check for bosses obsolete, unless you only put it on certain really tough to get to bosses. I think everyone loves a good gong sound though(including myself) so I am in support.


someone e-mail me the sound file if they do this, so I can hear what the new NM gong sounds like... As long as its a new one and not the same old gong.

Edit: also... need more dragons.
