Should always bring around a healer when your training a zerk. They get hurt/use up hp. Pretty much a alt (cleric is nice, but a pally does O.K.). So maybe you should give your zerker a break and train up a cleric of pally to level 18 beforehand, however pallys deal more dmg when healing(untill aid is aquired, then clerics do much better.) So if your looking for a quick healer, train a pally. Cleric would do ya' better in the long run though as the zerk increases in level. As for where to train besides the swamp, if you dont have a healer. I gues..close to town? Forest is really the only place I can think of where a zerk would get I guess decent xp, and not get torn apart all by his self by the monsters in the area. North of blackthorn might work as well. /shrug. Not sure, I'm sure others could give you better feed-back on this though. Oh, and for level 1-10 don't screw around in the arena, try small snakes south of nightmist, and even skels. You hardly lose xp, and make it back fast. I just use normal attack untill 3 stam, then switch to smite. 2 stam and below smites are pretty worthless, and just kill the already little amount of time you have untill that smallsnake/skel has its way with you. :)

You could level it on the Demonic Soilders, but they hit hard, fast, and have too much HP. I'd sugest training in the Illuminated tunnles on vampire bats. They hit for about 20, but give the same Xp as soilders, only drop about 60 gold, and spawn alot faster. Less pkage down there too. Bring a few alts to hold onto advanced mana, and log them at the entrance(Theifs work well, I'll explain later) Just heal away at the bats untill your inv is empty, or you reach level. In the case of having empty inv, dump all the gold onto your thief alt, and pick up fresh mana from one of them. And contiune doing so untill level. The nice thing about the theif, is that covert allows it so on your way back through the sometimes rough bandits/bears/wolfs that if ya die, you dont lose the 5-10k you'll have. Thats just how I did it. You could probbly roll it to the zeum, but I think thats abit much, as the price of keys..etc. Vamp bats would be your best bet. Thats how I did it. Hope this helps.

Are zerkers generally hard to train?

Swamps help when your smiting for 700ish? Does pretty decent for the xp, but I've never trained one to arch. So I can't really say, but as of yet they don't seem to be all that difficult if you have a nice healer along.

i do

1-5 nm arena
5-15 large forest/spiders
15-20 sarka

this is if you have no alts, but large forest and sarka have a good amount of pkers. my zerker is only 20, so i cant help you from there but my guess would be swamps or sarka some more.
I believe in the Triune God;God the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit.I believe that while I was helpless and sinful, Christ died for me. Therefore, I now have the righteousness of God, old things have passed away and I am a child of God. I cannot be separated from the love of God, Christ lives in my heart by faith and therefore, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I have been chosen by God and appointed to bear fruit for God. I resist the devil and he flees from me.

Well, you'll always get the same exp in a certain place (unless it's raped by staff -cough "Orc Caves" coughs- ). It's just the gap until the next level becomes much greater.

It's pretty easy to work out your average hit ratio by damage done - I try to work around that for where's the best place to train, more so with Mages (yes, I understand this isn't for mages).
