I agree. Why gnome thieves?
Not that I might have one in my account or anything.
I thought the thief looked interesting.
And I bought it pretty cheap.
If I had it.

Why don't you just get one of both?
I haven't got any illusions about anything. Having said that, I still want to try to change things.

Rather than be worried about double posting (glad you didn't), edit your post :P

There's nothing wrong with running them both at the same time- I actually find that at higher levels, my dwarf (yes, only one..) levels much faster than my Halflings or Human.

'They' (yes I said they) found out about power training and considered it an easy way out of getting arch thieves, you could just stick as much gold as you wanted on a monster, lets say 10 mill. I don't know how much a thief could steal from a monster holding 10 mill in 1 stam but for each one gold you steal, you gain 5 exp. 10 mill times 5 pod is approximately 50 mill exp. You could arch a thief in 1 day if you had that much gold... I believe so.

Gnome thieves are cool, mine is, with his awesome 3.1k pk count ^_^ he hits avg of 170-230, which does the job

Me and andy, (Eternyte) Had a little test for a few hours, we brought every race of thief to the arena,

Human

Dwarf

Gnome

Halfling

And you want to know what hit the best and commonly hardest?

all were 4 stat level 30 thiefs,

The gnome hit for 170-220, (Armageddon)

Human hit for 220-250 (Mythical)

Dwarf hit for 130-280 (Repulse)

Halfling hit for 200-250 (Trust)

Thats the average hits we got hitting things for 2 hours in the arena thats the final results..so that might help you.

Even if Gnomes are not the best race as Thieves, sometimes it is just nice to be different.

Questions:

How does the exp with stealing work, is it the same as a point of damage for a point of gold on the monster?

What is the fastest way to level in your opinion, stealing gold, or just normally?

How do you power level well?

Btw to keep on topic I value dex > str so I vote for the fellowship of the ling.

Race/Class: Male Gnome Archmaster Thief. Str: 17, Int: 17, Dex: 20, Con: 18, Wis: 19, Chr: 9, Lev: 30, Exp: 404,345,608, HP: 295, MP: 0, Stm: 5.

^Best gnome thief in game ;) (only gnome thief i got)

The rest of my thieves are mostly dwarves and lings with 2 or 3 humans...

Killing monsters is much quicker than stealing gold.
