So, I only have a 1100AMD, with 128mb ram... (will be upgrading next month). However, I can't go for another month without a new game to play..

I'm after something WW2 or Modern day military based, in a similar format to the Total War series.. Or something like it.
Looked at Axis and Allies, but it's too limited, I want something more open (such as the Civ games).

i heard great things about ulysses. you might want to pick up a cliff notes for that one to appreciate the undertones, but i hear it's fantastic.

anything by ayn rand would kill some time, and expand your horizons about "objectivism". i'd suggest the fountainhead.
