More likely so he can keep his level 25 characters in the swamps for very easy exp. As stated on the last thread, that, and power training (which is now prevented) are what caused the exp block.

I am not against the exp stopping, I was just wondering why it did.

It was put there so people can actually come out of Dungeons or Lush Jungle or wherever they are training to level up, if there was no block there they could stay there for ever and not have to move from that one place (unless to get mana).

ok how about increaseing it ... like lets say you got a crit with 1mill exp for total lvl why cant you increase it like 7mill more? or if your at 115.15% why not make it so you can get 126.66%?

I just wish that my characters that I keep for lower level areas didn't get the message every single time they heal the other crits or attack monsters...

By that, I mean the crits are red for the next level, but I don't click them because I want them to stay in the low level area---not for more exp, just because I use them there.

I have to agree with Gaddy here. Could the message itself be toggable? People know when they have to level up or cap out on xp. The XP Cap does not have to change at all. Would it be possible just to toggle the message the character gets when it hits something?

I dont agree, it being toggable would defeat the purpose of having an anoying message to tell you to go level. Its obvious when you need to level your exp bar turns red, if gona make it toggable why not just rid of it all together? Personally i like it makes me not wanna the character with those messages until its leveled, which i suppose is the point.

I found when the crit reached maxed exp on a level, it refuses to hit period, so can't see what the purpose is to this at all. Besides, I happen to agree that there shouldn't be an experience off feature. Certain areas were designed for certain levels. If a block was put on, then say like in swamps, none of the lower level alts would ever have a peace of mind because there will be level 25's staking out there to pk them. It's the only safe haven away from the arches and such though I have never trained there but 1 time.

Why not make it the best of both if the block was removed that the area was lvl capped that its exp capped so for instance that the swamps to stop people power training to 30 in there on easy exp remove the lvl cap on the area but cap the area to experiance like 52 mil exp capped anything under that can enter and anything over that cant which means you could spend the time out to train with out the one crit telling you hes capped on exp every time u hit cus it needs to level

Really all it would take was exp cap to be lifted and areas to be changed from lvl limit to exp limit

and that would make a difference how? It doesn't change anything. Exp is pretty much the same as level cept the inbetween and I'd still disagree with it with reasons I listed in previous post. And you can't power train to 30 in swamps. There is a level gap of 25 or 26 forbidding you to enter at that point.

hello?? did u not read?? what he meant was to not let u continue training (cap off) to get the req exp for lvl 30 = 250m but still lvl 25 cuz it was never leveled, hence being able to get ino the swamp bc still lvl 25... gd get ur nuts straight

The problem with having an exp block instead of level is under exp archs could go in and own the place easily.

Hey Lappa, you just said the same darn thing that I said. It doesn't make a fricken difference whether it would be a level cap or exp cap because the result is the same and would result with what Dark just said. So my nuts are already straight.

If they remove the exp cap, you can stay at level 25, but make your way up to 250 mil xp.....then just click your way in training spots to arch. Thats his point.

They made it so that you HAVE to level before gaining more experience so that you cant sit in swamps as a level 25 and make your way to 250 mil xp.

Easy enough to understand now?

This all just made me realize that there was either alot of trial and error in the first moments of Nightmist or JLH is a genius.

That being said, if there was an exp cap on any area instead of level cap, what would happen if you were go train to that said cap? Would it stop you from training like the current system?

I understood both ways the very first time it was mentioned. Either way, the level cap and the experience cap is working just great as it is now and there is no need change the areas that have them. Can't enter a certain area passed a certain level, and once you gain a certain amount of exp, you can't gain more. Absolutely perfect and the most genious idea that should just be left alone!
