just wondering... there are no arrows in game, but we can still use bows?

it would be cool if you had to buy arrows for your bows.

would be cool excepttttt..... Rangers would be at a disadvantage to the rest of the crits as when they were out of arrows they would have to buy more where a mage cleric pally and all the others if thes simply wait die or go to a clan house get their weapons back.

I think we've been through this before. Didn't Creed draw us a spiffy picture of a ranger beating the living snot out of orc with his bow? Pwnt.

dunno... either way i don't think rangers would be at a disadvantage. magic characters need to buy mana for spells, so why not have rangers need to buy arrows for bows? atleast 150 arrows per buy, and make it so they dont cost too much. we could have different strengths of arrows, and arrows for certain bows to make them more better.

I think it's a good idea, and more realistic to have. All you would need to do is keep the arrows in your inventory, (or maybe make an extra slot on the paperdoll-ish thing), and have the arrows go down on use.

Just like every other time this has been suggested, I hate this idea with every fibre of my body. Having arrows in the inventory means taking up space which ideally needs to be used for healing potions. That aside, the rangers will have to pay to be able to fight, let alone train.

The idea is ineffective and retarded.

He and his brother are on a break, but well.

How about unlimited/free 'normal' arrows, and some freezing arrows/flaming arrows/magic arrows that cost money?

Do rangers really need to be stronger?

Are you suggesting that the shield be replaced with a quiver?

...Hmm...this was discussed before, I think...

it wouldn't make rangers stronger, adding arrows would just give them a realistic touch.

Unfortunately it has been my observation that realism is ignored if not banned in nightmist therefore the idea of actually having to have something to fire from the bow is entirely unreasonable. I mean...everyone knows that a bit of wood in the shape of a bow with a bit of string on it does more damage than a sword.
It hurts sometimes more than we can bear,
if we could live without passion maybe we'd know some kind of peace,
empty rooms, shuttered and dank,
without passion we'd be truly dead.
