It's no secret that you guys had already been down there to get seals, so with that big of a party, BD it was.

Thing is though, we hadn't been going down there to get seals. Apparently there was a Telatin spawned somewhere which DA got the KS on. We also only had two clerics on, which we take to any branch of the dungeons. It's hard to believe that with two clerics it would have been 'only logical' (as someone described it, maybe Sublime but I can't remember) that we were going to attempt the dragon. For all you could have told with your spies above the dungeon, we could have been doing any of the four sides, but you guys burnt the last seal to come pk us with a party that couldn't even finish off the dragon? Sorry, I find that suspect. And no I have no proof, but that doesn't lessen the suspicion.

I'm going to side with Autek on this one, especially giving out specifically my locations over anyone else's. I was more or less the only person who solely trained in Science Complex. I (along with a few others) trained in the Plains of Faravar. And Midnightcopse I trained in quite often aswell. I am not please at all it was posted on the forums by 'ex-staff'. These locations could have been found in-game by a player, but if he will go so far as to post them on the forum openly, lord knows what he told his friends in the opposing clan.

These are EXCACT locations for people who PK. Science Complex is maybe 30 soloable squares. Midnight Copse is a judgement call for PKs, especially if you don't know where Maneaters are. But still not that large of an area. Plains of Faravar; again are only 4 spots that are soloable in this area that someone has to check.

I did at first like what Paradox had done as staff, but I do find this completely obscene. I've seen people steal/cheat, but to self benefit under the trust of JLH and other members of staff should be called for a much stricter punishment.

While getting those seals Nayru died by trap on the way to Telatin and was sent back to pub, which was seen then replied to in fc "ouch those traps hurt". I can't count how many times enemies were taunting to me in my fc that they were going to BD and also I've had enemies page me and tell me where their clannies were going, think next time you anger your clannies...
And as for knowing where certain people train, thank you kill list, yes people use it to pk others, always have, this is a not new thing or a cheat. I've even had enemies page me with /toggle loc off teasing me many times, since I have no idea how to get to those places, like I'm not going to tell my clannies where you are? Common sense... And before you claim he was staff and gave me any info, you're wrong, he was not staff while many of those things happened. With that said.. Have a good day all.

Taunt a player is one issue. Kill list is another issue. He chose to spy on a staff crit. And I think you're on a different page about what happned at BD.

Taunting is what he did to get himself banned....very bad judgement on his part. Every place he mentioned about you guys training was already known by the pandemonium clan, before he became staff.

As for him popping in on you, he stated he did this for shizz and giggles, and just to be sociable. Nothing any other staff did/does to the playerbase.

And for the record...kill list is way overrated anymore. Having people who train all over the realm and report back is more effective.
I would ask myself why, but even I do not know everything.

I wasn't on for the Blue Dragon. JP let me know of it when I logged as he and I often do when we get pks. I know that I have been to the Blue Dragon twice with the clan as a whole to kill it and believe that one of those trips was a followup to the pks. Generally if we catch enemy clan at bosses we try to go in and clean up the boss to make the trip a total failure for the enemy.

If you ask some of the exPande members who recently joined Treasure Hunters you'll find that alot of timje and effort have gone into tracking players. As Walt pointed out there is probably nobody better at this then Quinton. It is suspected amoung many members he has Obsessive-compulsive disorder. He monitors several players ingame daily. There was a time I found it rather annoying that every 5 or 10 minutes he would be spitting out in clan chat that he though so and so was here or that so and so had been killing this monster or that monster. What I found though from watching my other clannies pks was that the kid was onto something. Now I kinda look at him as the General in the clan. He barks out targets and whoever is up to the tasks jumps on the mission.

I'm not a cheat. I do some chit talking now and then, but for the most part even when I do pk or get pked I try to keep it fun. I have slips in judgement depending how good the bag I got that week is. I've had some negative exchanges with Tietsu that looking back now were kinda childish with mass paging and gay /dnd's. But generally I'm pretty upbeat and try to keep it real and fun. I think alot of the reason is the amount of time many of us spend online playing or chatting. I don`t care who you are if you spend as much time as some of us do it's bound to get personal at some point. And having spent my share of 8-10 hour days on Nightmist constantly doing /who I'd say that all of us on this post spend way to much time on here. I can only imagine Tietsu and Piddy's trash cans being full of energy drinks and the sink full of coffee cups.

I think it is pretty safe to say we all want the same thing to. We want to be #1. Maybe not #1 at the same thing. Walt prides himself on maintaining #1 in pks with Hitokiri, Manda is working on being the 1st to 40, Tietsu is worken tirelessly at being #1 druid. And all doing a pretty damn good job doing it. I haven't found my #1 yet. I get 10 pks someone gets 20. I get 30 mil exp in one training trip someone goes out and gets 40 mil. What we need do is stop all the finger pointing and rumors. Every issue I have had on here I have resolved by going straight to the source and addressing the issue. As a result I've made some good friends along the way and avoided alot of drama. We need to find our #1's and stop the petty finger pointing and crying. Myself included. Way to much time is devoted by staff to resolving petty issues. It took me less the 5 minutes on MSN to understand why I was banned, explain my side, get my sentence, and thank him for being fair. 5 minutes to long.

What's your #1?
My inner child is a mean little f*ucker

Had to be the most agree able part of the whole post. 80% of what the players on nightmist "Know" is based on rumors and tall tales. It has been this way forever, and it looks like it is going to stay that way.

Look, I have not played since September, and before that I didn't play since February, so 1a has obviously changed since I played, however the same "problems" occur today that occured when I played.
1)The Kill List- I don't know if it's a bad idea, of course when I played I was the highest lvl druid, had the best equip, and was good at training in large areas (i.e) dessert and even wasting zeum keys to train on different floors of the zeum just to give myself a buffer zone from my enemies. It's obvious that the game has expanded it's horizons, Blue Dragon was not even attempted when I played NM on 1a anyways, so congrats on the continued progression. I never understood the complaint over the kill list, I always thought it was a point of pride to have a very diverse kill list, I mean from a role playing standpoint, the monsters your character slays expands his/her legend in a way. But even if it's used against you, because you inhabit the same training areas, then that's a personal decision, sometimes you have to sacrifice killing horrible monsters for peace of mind. I once again am bias because I always had 118 ac minimum and memphis was sexy equipped so i'd be fine. My only advice to people who are having problem training is look at the better characters in your class, study where they trained, and don't go there.....HAHAHAHA. I am joking, just learn the habits of your enemies, and realize if Walt killed you in lets say Faravar, he will look for you there again. The kill list is not a big deal, get better at the game kids.
2)Staff Abuse-However staff have always watched over players to check progress as players. Emma, Elf, and Gaddy would randomly talk to me when I was out training, sure they have an "advantage" but I don't think it was ever abused. I haven't played obviously since new staff have been added, and I can understand the tempting ways in which to spy and such. But imo, information gathered would be for personal use. I know stuff looks so obvious, like the seal usage and even being pk'd after teleportation, but i've never had a staff member do anything but ban me, lie about me, and love me. I never had one try and cheat me, so my inexperienced mind will give "Paradox" the benefit of the doubt. Trust me, they really do run around just looking for people, and the amount of time they waste doing that is time your out making gold and exp. Train a little bit smarter, a little bit more covertly, and you will be fine.

P.S.- I also had staff take my ED that I found on the floor away  *winks* Manda *winks*

Once again NM congrats on your continued progress, and people say this a lot but I don't think they mean it, "IT"S JUST A GAME", you just got to do what you can to make it fun, and blame yourself if you don't like the game anymore. Everyone plays differently, make sure your way is the most satisfying.
