The old Q-TEC 550w power supply in the server was getting a bit noisy, so i replaced it with a nice Thermaltake Purepower 560W, that was fine as is much quieter.
The confusion in game is because I ran the server program, and then closed it because i forgot to change something quickly first. However because i closed it, it tried to save the database (which is normal), however because it was loading, it had not yet loaded in the database.
So basically it wrote an empty database to the hard drive, doh! I restored the database from the last backup (runs every 6 hours) and restarted the server.
Double XP has been granted until midnight GMT to make up for my screwup.
