i like this idea, as ive tried this like 8x with a "spider bow" and the craft i suggested even ranged from easy(like this one)to hard. it was deleted almost every time or everytime. not sure if they deleted the last one or not.

i did ask for a ritual dagger last quest (all race spider staff equivilent) was a no aswell

my suggestion is to go to moderator options at the top and delete it yourself. saves mods from having to do it. with the time saved they may implement something lol

hate having to be the debbie downer but i have to go with what ive experienced. atleast you are enlightened to what may happen.

I'm not certain about this weapon - the requirements to craft it are quite steep for what it does, and it won't be used for very long given its level.  But is it just to allow other classes to fight the Spider King?

The other thing is that the whole "skeleton:1.25|skeletal:1.25" is associated with staffs and weapons that rely on blunt force.

I think the item is too narrow a window as well.
If it is a very-mini cobalt staff, it probably should be designed around enabling low levels via draining gold.

If it is to give options to train lower level characters outside of Swamps, Gnolls, and Gendreas - it probably needs some other tweaks.

To me, it needs to be adjusted to discourage high level use while enabling low levels. Perhaps that is positive dex but way more negative str mods. Maybe it is negative armor type stuff.

I think an intent / purpose for the concept is needed. Runs Staff and Rune Blade could stay unique quest items, but something new to give others reasonably comparable items would need to have a concept around it.
Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore, get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding.

anything that is designed for high levels to not use em is forgotten, lost, because it affects less than 1% of your total game-time progressing towards 40.

who cares if a lvl 32 uses it, it isn't a top tier item. should i get chided for using an oak staff on a level 40? should i get a blue ribbon?

the bd is nuts, that makes high levels not want to use it.

the general concept should not  be  E=mc^no fun squared divided by playerbase = 1 usable item per decade

make cool nuts for us, raise pod, change stuff  make it fun.  you have nothing to lose but a staff position on a dying game.  if JLH doesn't care as much as you make it seem he doesn't, than he wont give a nuts about that either.
