The bosses would be worth a fraction of their regular exp (perhaps 10-15%), so they would be useless for training.

(I forgot to add this to the original posting, but got to it in a followup.)

then this has my full support i just hope it doesnt take away the fun of killing the 'proper' bosses.

Completely supported. I'd like to see which bosses I can take by myself and which ones I can't. Think of Paci's vs SK :(

I like it a lot! I think you should be able to summon any monster, that way if someone wanted to see if they could take on a Pit Wraith with 1 character, they could do so. Obviously the prices for all monsters would be ranged based on rarity/toughness.

/t JLH I don't know if you could make a command like /summon (Monster Name), but that would make this work. That way you don't have to make a room for each individual monster.

As for the kill list, my main goal now that I have gotten my Paladin to 30, is to get as many kills on the list as possible. Whether or not they are 'Phantom' monsters or not, as long as they go on the list, it's fine by me. Also, there are some areas that some classes cannot go into to get the kills. For instance with my Paladin cannot go into the SDG or Natura, but I'd like to get the kill for those areas. There may be kills that I/others had forgotten to get while our characters were under the max level limit that we'd like to get. This would let us get those also.

As for the monsters dropping items/gold or giving exp, I could care less. I've got my character to 30, gotten him all the equipment I need to, and now don't have anything to spend gold on. (I play on 1 character) I would be glad to put my gold towards fighting in this arena.

I think the main reason to put this in the game is to extract gold from the economy. . . If it's giving anything back, even if it's still taking some out, is kind of defeating the purpose. I don't see anything wrong with pointless collector's items though. Just nothing with armor/stat bonuses.
