If I remember right, the healing bonus was removed from 1a because there were clerics racking up the xp and having to wait for lvl 31+. . . .

I propose that paladins receive +10xp/dmg, which is half of what it once was. The removal of the healing bonus hit the paladins way harder than clerics. Clerics get Divine Restoration, and heal for 100+ and still get great xp, while paladins are stuck healing for 60's, maybe into the 70's with wisdom mods. It might get people into playing classes other than Druid/Thief/Mage again.

There's an idea! And don't try to tell us the classes are equal cause we all know, as Autek stated, which are the most dominant.

This was brought up in the past I think and turned down, but i always did think Paladins did get the shaft when they changed that. I don't think that is the solution for it, but i do agree something has to be done to help paladins.

Yeah, I had brought it up when they were making all the radical changes. I think it just got lost under all of the outrage people were having over the ktp and stuff. Maybe now that we see the long term effects, that is, people only playing Mages/Druids/Thieves for the most part, we can start to rebalance things.

This would bring light onto the somewhat boring and hard to train Paladins. I would quite possibly train my paladin if it was such a pain and exp was so low. They are not a very PvP friendly class, as well as, cannot train all that effectively. If the exp bonus was given to Paladins it might give others the want to play Paladins, in addition to balance out the game some since that Nighmist 1a is vastly dominated by Thieves, Mages, and Druids.

I agree Paladin's are hard done by when it comes to training and most other things tbh but this would need careful consideration. Hope to get to it sometime soon.
