Hidden Caves

Description: The hidden caves are the remains of an accent city that was once the most important economic center for travelers of the whole world. No one knows what really happened to the huge place but there are stories. The most believable tale is that the city was built on a volcano where one day lead to the end of the city. Now all that is left is an empty path and some villagers. Follow the path up and into to heart of the cave through small tunnels that are at times hard to pass through. As you go deeper into the caves the temperature rises.

Monsters:
*Stone guard-basic guard found on the first level-750hp-25 damage per hit-2 stamina
* Stone Warrior-First and second level monster-900hp-45damage per hit-1 stamina
* Stone Villager-Third level monster-100hp-doesn’t attack
*Stone Prince-Drops key for third floor called Magma Stone-5000hp-15 damages per hit-1 stamina re-appears every 5-min.
*Stone Demon- Third floor boss

Boss Info: The boss for this is a little different. There are four boss rooms on the third floor. First one of the four bosses appear then 10 min. later the next and 10min later the next and finally 10 min later the next. Its very simple if 4 Stone Demons are alive at one point the whole third floor is a trap and everyone dies. To make it fair the 10-minute clock doesn’t start until one or more people are on the third floor. The story goes that once the Demons come to take the forgotten town all the villagers come to fight off the evil monsters.

I’m not sure about the monster hp/stamina/damage or weather the 10-min. intervals on the bosses will work. There is nothing that has identical bosses that spawn at the same time in the same place. Along with the story this city is the place where the rulers of good and evil where born seeing how the Demons appear to reclaim the city. With the boss drops 1 of the 4 drop every time and after the boss that drops an item is killed all the others disappear.

I downloaded the mapmaker program and I’m having problems. Every time I open the program I have an error saying my computer does not support this program. I will most likely make a sketch of the map on paper and scan it or try to use what I have to make the map.

This is a very rough version of what I’m thinking of. With this post I’m looking for comments on if this area is a possibility. If I get good feed back I will continue my process of creating the area and submit it to staff for further review.

Woot we have a reply. Well i said possible drop. I would tend to argue about the sword i think we need somthing better than a halberd but not as good as a Blade of Time. If you think about it a berserk with a BOT can destroy a berserk with a halberd. This drop will allow players to make the gap between a Blade of Time and a Halberd without spending the amout of money that BOT sell for. I almost think the bass damage should be 27.Well forgeting the dagger isnt that bad of a idea if others fell the same way as you do. Keep replys coming i want to know what ppl think.

eh, this doesnt seem like an area suggestion, instead you've made a small atempt to outline an area for wepaons/armor you would like to see in the game. sword would generally make halber obselete. we dont need another 1 armor bracelet. we dont need ANOTHER dagger. we dont need a helmet that give 14 armor, thats just rediculous....

Well with help from Samus i have completed my map. Items i would like to see in the game is not really the point they are just possibilitys. What area doesnt have a boss? My point of adding items for the drop is just to make suggestions. I have had lots of people discuss this topic with me ingame. With that the bracelet should be -2 armor and +1 intel and the helm needs to be 10 armor. Other than that i plan to keep what i have posted as is. Along with that i plan to post area discription and monster desciption with full detail. All i need is a few more study halls to work the kinks out. KEEP REPLYING WITH YOUR THOUGHTS PLZ :)

Orc Caves and Gerandras (sp?) don't have bosses. Swamps doesn't have a boss with a drop of any use.

I agree that the items seem out of place..and reading a little about them makes them make very little sense to me.

Stone dagger glows with a magical aura, but isn't magical..it says the only known item made from magma, we've got an item called a Magma Knife.

There are 2 bosses that drop 1 ac bracelets, both are annoyingly rare drops.

I don't really see a problem with adding more weapons to game, but i think it would be more cool to add a helm drop. There are no bosses that drop helm excluding Antler's drop that i can think of, it is a 1 class item with 2 classes that can enter...i think there should be more. The idea for stone helm giving fighters a 14 ac helm doesn't actually seem THAT bad to me. They ought to be able to equip the most armor and rangers get basically the same ammount as them...

I think a helm drop of some kind would be nice....I cannot come up with many suggestions because i dont really feel like reading what your area is all about at the momment.

Thx for the support of helm drop. Im just adding 4 possible drops and I am thinking that staff might narrow them down for me as they chose.Keep in mind this post will be revised. The description is very very rough.I believe that if you check back in a week I will have many improvments and expansions to this idea.Keep the idea rolling.
