I was watching as Bush, Daddy Bush, and Clinton were asking for donations from us, and to be honest Clinton was the only one who actually said something that made sence in their effort. If even only a $10 donation is made by many, it adds up. If everyone in Broward county alone coughed up $10 each, That comes out to be roughly $17,313,470.

Imagine what we could all do by donating $10. We'd pay off the national debt, we'd pay off the wars, and Bush would get to go on a wild spending spree.

Anyway, yea this is the worst so far in my lifetime, next to Chernoble and all these hurricanes.

I thought it was unfair for you to say that you didn't give a nuts about it. I'm sure you'd feel differently if someone you knew was out there.

Regardless of whether a situation effects you or not, it's simply inhumane to not feel for the people that have lost their lives in the disaster, and for those that have survived it only to find that their families have been killed.

I understand that you must be getting alot of it on TV, and that in some cases it must be annoying to have to keep watching it over and over again - but that's when you have to understand that other people probably feel differently and want to see it/know about it as much as they can.

I can't believe what some of you have said...and have removed anyone who said these things from friends. How heartless can some of you be? You're sick of hearing about this? How would you feel if you knew someone that died in 9/11, and I said that I was sick of hearing people complain about it? Over 100,000 people died.... and lost everything. I am sick of hearing about it. People die and lose sh*t everyday.... boo hoo im going to be emotionally attatched to every mooseing tragedy in the world... i dont think so. It gets annoying when thats all i see on the news, when i watch the news... i expect to see a nice juicey murder trial or them telling me about a sewage break o_o Not 60 minutes on the poor helpless gook people.

I fail to see where this is funny unless your taking it out of context. That second sentance was directed towards the Tsunami, not the polar cap.
