Nightmist needs some new banner art that can be used to advertise the game, since JLH's last banner is (in the words of Gaddy) "uber nubby".

In-game prizes will be given to the top three winners.

Contest details:

1) Banners must be 468x60 pixels and must be plain-old gifs or animated gifs.

2) The banner must include the web address "http://www.nightmist.co.uk".

3) Winners will be chosen by a panel of staff. Staff may submit banners but will not be eligible to win.

4) Deadline for entries is July 3rd, 2007.

5) By entering the contest and posting here you give us permission to host your banner on the NM site and to distribute it to the furthest reaches of the web and the dark corners of Elf's closet. (Trips to Elf's closet are not recommended for minors.)

6) You should post your banner here in this thread. Any postings that are not official entries will be removed. If you want to comment on your favorite banner, please do so in another thread.

most images used are my own personal photography projects, and other images used are either property of nightmist or uncopywrited material.... to quell any rumors
and if JLH thinks there is a problem, they can easily be reworked.

Just thought I'd point out that this image is from the Expanded Psionics Handbook from Wizards.

...And that picture of the bearded dwarf is also from another D&D book. I can't place it exactly, but I'm sure I've seen it before. I just thought I'd point that out.

I didn't steal them from anywhere; I found them in the 'fan art' section of the picture section in the forum.

I presumed that someone had made them for Nighmist - the reason why the majority if not all of my work was done around four images from that folder, because I didn't want to steal anyones work.

Staff have voted upon which banners are their favourites. I have to say excluding the staff banners, it was very hard to chose 3 favourites. However we did decide on the first three placings. The results are as follows:

1st - Katja (for banners #1, #2, #10, #14 especially)
2nd - Hawk_Trinsic for his animated banner.
3rd - Swordflower for the last animated banner he posted.

You may accept your prizes on 1a OR Multi and they are as follow:

1st - 100k on main OR 10k on 1a
2nd - 75k on main OR 7.5k on 1a
3rd - 50k on main OR 5k on 1a

All other entrants will also recieve a prize for their highly commended work on either multi OR 1a. Please contact me on either 1a/Multi to claim your prizes.
